Elizabeth Roark, MS, Chief of Operations
Elizabeth joined ConnectNetwork in 2008 after serving as an advisor since 2001 and Advisory Board member since 2006. Prior to joining Connect, she consulted with a variety of types and sizes of businesses, including start-ups, non-profits and government agencies through her own company since 2000.
Prior to consulting, she served as Director of Product Development for a Northern Virginia-based technology start-up followed by work with a regional business incubator/investment fund. These positions were preceded by her time with Nortel Networks in the US and Canada, including serving as Advisor to the CIO and managing Project Management Centers of Excellence.
Elizabeth holds a B.A. in International Relations, as well as an M.S. in Management Information Systems, both from the University of Virginia. She currently serves as a board member for a local community health center, chairperson for the Richmond Regional Selection Committee for the Jefferson Scholars Foundation and as a mentor for emerging technology companies based on UVA technology through the T100 Program. She is a former board member of the Girl Scout Commonwealth Council of Virginia and the Richmond Venture Forum.
